The 14th China-Japan Joint Conference on Material Recycling and Waste Management (CJJC2025) brings together leading researchers and engineers committed to waste management. The goals are to: (1) Share updates on regional waste issues, (2) Identify common challenges, (3) Exchange ideas and promote collaboration, (4) Share knowledge on technologies and systems, and (5) Strengthen networks within and between China and Japan. The conference aims to enhance quality of life and support environmental sustainability in East Asia. Topics of major interest include:
TOPICS
- - Waste management strategies, planning, and policy innovation
- - Waste collection, transport, intermediate treatment, and final disposal
- - 3Rs and beyond – including circular economy approaches
- - Decarbonization and carbon neutrality in waste systems
- - Contaminated site remediation and environmental restoration
- - Emerging issues in waste management (e.g., PFAS, marine plastics, AI/IoT applications)

Hotel Reservation
Please note that the CJJC Secretariat will not arrange hotel reservations on behalf of participants. Kindly make your own arrangements.
The international conference will be held at Aubade Hall from October 27 to 29, conveniently located near JR Toyama Station, so we recommend booking a hotel in that area.
For the excursion on October 30–31, we will visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama City. Please book your accommodation near JR Takayama Station for those dates.
Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located near Toyama, is a popular destination for international tourists.
We strongly recommend booking your hotel as early as possible.

CJJC事務局ではホテルの予約は行いませんので、各自でご手配をお願いいたします。
10月27日～29日の国際会議はオーバード・ホール（JR富山駅近く）で開催されますので、JR富山駅周辺のホテルが便利です。
10月30日～31日のエクスカーションでは、白川郷および高山市を訪れますので、JR高山駅周辺のホテルをご予約ください。
白川郷（富山県近郊）はユネスコ世界遺産に登録されており、海外からの観光客にも人気の高い観光地です。
ホテルの確保が難しくなる可能性がありますので、早めのご予約を強くおすすめいたします。
